Smart
This picture is for W who thinks no one besides her family has Smart Hair. Well we are smart, too, Wendy! I score 1400 on the Hair SATs, sister, with a guinness number of cowlicks on just this one head of mine. I'm betting there are more of you out there than are admitting, so fess up and fly your morning hairdos on your blogs.
A good friend of mine who has not had an easy time of staying pregnant is sailing with flying colors through her 10th week with great measurements and strong heartbeats. I have to shout my joy out about how thrilled I am for she and her superhubs. Stars are finally aligning for two more people who really deserve to be parents. To any of you struggling right now, I say, hang in there dears. Hope springs.
She recently gave me some bath bombs from Lush and this one is my all time favorite-yummy!! I'm burning through them like Santa Barbara wildfire.
I've been working on reidentifying with what I do for a living because I think I get lost in all of the things I do for fun and forget about building my business. I know only a little about marketing but am having fun creating little goodie bags for my clients and educating them about self-care. I started a new little blog for locals and those who already see me at the spa. I do declare I'm having a dandy time.

pixie, you rock! we'll have a genius hair standoff in person next month.
btw, did you know my husband has TWO opposing cowlicks/crowns on the back of this head? that's why his hair stand straight up in the morning. and you should see the lengths he goes through in the morning fussing with hair gel trying to tame it.
those bath bombs sound dreamy and your new blog is terrific. as for marketing...i might be able to help you with that...we'll speak.
yeah...more babies beings on the way. this news makes my morning. hold good thoughts for my dear friend h, who has been trying for a VERY looooong time and is losing hope.

I agree with Swirly-- you have dandy hair.
I didn't know that you were a LMT. Cool beans. I love myofacial massage as I hold so much stress in my jaw. Just thinking about it makes my jaw relax, so thanks for talking about it in your other blog.

I'm not well versed on the world of blog - but have been a quiet reader for a while, mainly just to catch up with you Miles and Brandon. It seems like everything is going great. As I told you so many times years ago - I so admire your no fear (at least visible)out look on life. I am entering in to some new ventures for myself and am very much trying to adopt the same mantra.
I do want to pass along a story of healing and faith. As you know my mom has suffered from metastatic colo/rectal cancer for 18 years. She has had bouts with serious radiation, major body dismorphing surgical procedures and of course the dreaded chemo. She has only had one extensive break of being completely clear - sometime back in the early 90's, for 2 years. Well without rambling on too long we just discovered that she is now completely clear. Amazing since 6 months ago she had 5 small tumors in her lungs. It is my belief that this is such a testament to balance in life..... Prayer and faith go a long way - but you must stay pro active and informaed about your care. Modern medicine is certainly a valuable tool in patient care but leaving an open mind for homeopathic, spiritual, or even eastern medical practices allow for a well ballanced path to healing. And most importantly keeping your positive outlook and surrounding yourself with only positive people keeps you fed with great energy all the time. I know this might be pretty jumbly but i know that these things has kept my mom a cancer SURVIVOR for the last 20 years. here's to 20 more :)
