It rained all day today, but not so yesterday. It was so sunny and warm! I was glad to take the outing to the local "zoo park" with Miles.  We didn't walk the entire park, but sat down on our bums and had an ice cream sandwich after we'd seen the couple of familiar faces we came to visit.  We buy an annual membership so we can wander in and enjoy the scenery whenever we please without having to make a big committment out of it. 

 

I'm not sure why this bear is playing with an egg box, but she had her head in it most of the time we were observing her! 

     

It's nice to see things blooming again! I know I can't complain-there were leaves on the trees here at Christmas.  I can hear my northern friends moaning and rolling their eyes.  I do take much for granted here, mostly because I haven't ever lived anywhere else and I suffer major wanderlust.

The rain kept us in today and when the UPS truck came, I ran out without much raingear thinking he was delivering my new printer and some Blick supplies.  Alas, it was just a wool puddle pad for the babe. *snooze!* I'm so anxious to keep working, my momentum is insane with the knowledge that I will be taking a baby break very soon!  Of course now is when I'm all fired up to paint!

I'm loving this print called "Ebb" by Melissa Moss and this little cutie bird by Ashley Anna Brown.  If either B or I were willing to give up one of our creative studios, there would be a perfectly good nursery to put these items in!  ...She's going to have to bunk with us for a while. :)
