What a longie long weekend it has been. I'd been so good at scheduling myself some time off and with some (ahem!) technical difficulties occuring yesterday, I was left needing to work on the seventh day. I'm carrying some creative tension in my body at the moment. Doing a bit of an armwrestle with my muse! I'm trying to remember to stay balanced, and what that means to me in this moment is taking Monday off. I'll let you know how that turns out.
I hope that you are doing better than I at balance, my special word until the children leave home.
I've completed three of 5 paintings I'd been working on and I'll be putting the originals & prints in the shop this week. I like working in pencil, it's so texture-y- and so these are all very pencil heavy. Can you guess which bridges are featured? If they were a bit more representational, that would be a fun contest.
I love contests. :)

Are you ready to hear who won Heather's amazing caramels?
Drumroll, please...
Will Nina Beana, the queen of CARE-a-MEL herself, please contact me and we will get you all. set. UP. Thank you all for playing! Sweets are truly my favorite thing to receive in the mail! Heather is absolutely dreamy. I love that she buys 48 pounds of local honey at one time. Can you believe it?
