I did Squam Art Workshops a little bit differently than most this year-I attended with my whole brood. I return from this event feeling very filled up, with a year's worth of inspiration to carry me onward. I'm grasping at words to try to tell you what it was like...
bright cool heavenly water
loon-sounds wild howls
amazing chow! humming, buzzing dining*chatting*meeting*laughing*riotous hall bursting with friends and new faces shining up up
reconnections
gentle enthusiastic instructors creating safe workspace sharing color and stories
fearless founders, creators and supporters
meaningful moments
boundaries and asking and apologies
cheeks of joy bouncing along the trail
warm hearths mossy trails brilliant and smiling photographers
entertaining squirrels hurling acorns red leaves f a l l i n g d o w n
divine and helpful husbands
a delirously inspired child who couldn't sleep for all the excitement!
creating walking singing whispering by fires smooching and hugging and snuggles
goodbye tears
yearning and pining
beginning, looking forward and standing very still
listening to the silent space in which anything, ANYTHING can happen...
More to come...
